On the 12th of September, Voyces continue their 2015 season with Pilgrim, a concert of modern settings of sacred choral works, set in the beautiful and ethereal Christ Church, Claremont. Directed by Dr. Robert Braham and accompanied by Jonathan Bradley, Pilgrim will include works from Latvia, Romania, America & the UK. Voyces President, Luke Donohoe stated, “We are excited about the sharing the program we have put together for this concert, as it allows us to celebrate the important tradition of sacred choral music in our own unique way.”
Earlier this year, Voyces toured to Melbourne to perform at the ANCA Choralfest 2015, and will be collaborating with the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy in September and October. They will also be presenting two different Christmas programmes in December, including their traditional concert on the 18th of December at St Joseph’s with guest musicians Sara Macliver and Fiona Campbell.
