The inaugural World Singing Day for the City of Perth held in Yagan Square last year was a great success and this year promises to be even bigger. People of Perth come together to sing and enjoy the shared experience of singing with a group.

It’s that time of year again where we celebrate our communities and gather together to unite the world in song.
Come and join us as we sing along to well known classic karaoke songs in Yagan Square with the song lyrics clearly displayed on the giant digital screen for everyone to join in.
Singing is an art form that connects across all cultures and communities. There is no qualifying requirement apart from the desire to come together and sing. The repertoire is chosen in a way that will engage the diversity in our community reaching out to those in the suburbs as much as those in the inner city.
