VOYCES celebrate Christmas

Voyces return to St Joseph’s Subiaco for their annual Christmas concert. The program includes a number of pieces rarely heard in Western Australia, including the Australian premiere of Sing the Ends of the Earth by Jeffrey Ryan and a brand new setting of The Wexford Carol by Western Australian composer and Voyces member Stefan Pugliese. The choir will be joined by a brass quintet and guest accompanist Jonathan Bradley.
A West Australian arts organisation, Voyces’ focus is on the performance, production and promotion of contemporary choral repertoire, with Musical Director Dr. Robert Braham leading the ensemble through diverse and challenging choral music. Voyces has showcased works by acclaimed Australian composers such as Iain Grandage, Dan Walker, Stephen Leek and Elena Kats-Chernin, alongside international composers including Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen and Ola Gjeil
